eyebrow bleaching

Hello everyone! Ofcourse you've seen the so called bleached/nude/no eyebrows trend. Apparently in renaissance Florence (Mona Lisa time), no eyebrows used to be sexy. I quote wikipedia -"some researchers claim that it was common at this time for genteel women to pluck them out". These days, Lara Stone is the first to stand out with this look and recently more models have also been sporting this look. Parisienne blogger Margaux Lonnberg is also definately known for this look. Combined with her messy bleached blonde hair, bronzed skin, ink and effortless style.

Honestly though, when I fist saw it I thought it looked a bit strange, but after a while it grew on me. I totally definately love the bleached eyebrow look now.

Anyway, last week I had a go at bleaching my eyebrows myself. At first I felt a little weird about it but it was because I wasn't used to see my face without eyebrows. (I used 6% hydrogen peroxide and bleaching powder. I used toothbrush to apply the mixture carefully and left it on for about 10 minutes. This can be too strong for bleaching hair on your face as it might burn/hurt, but it did the trick for me. Try at own risk ofcourse.) Pictures below (please excuse the shitty webcam quality).
